Traditional drinks-led pub in the village centre recently taken over by new licensees Ryan and Stuart Long. Several inter-connected rooms with a rear lounge laid out mainly for food. No fixed regular beers; at least two ales from the Stonegate list, typically Harvey's Sussex Best, Wadworth 6X, and Hog's Back TEA, but varies from time to time. Sports TV in front bar with dartboard in rear bar. Currently only Sunday lunches being served but plan is to offer full traditional pub food before the end of the year.
